رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "مریم اپنے زمانے کی عورتوں کی خاتون تھیں، لیکن میری بیٹی فاطمہ اول سے آخر تک تمام جہانوں کی خاتون ہیں۔"
قال رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم:
كانت مريم سيدة نساء زمانها، أمّا ابنتي فاطمة فهي سيدة نساء العالمين من الاولين الاخرين
